ya time constrain.....it gives u a lot of drive indeed.

so finished BH(some pages still remaining from FA).today is anat.today and tom.just read exam experiences..........seems i need to read more details of UL & LL.but let me finish head & neck and Neuro anat.then i'll take up all limbs and abd & pelvis.hope i complete all in 2 days.1.5 day to be exact.

BH,neuroanat and genetics were reported as th eweakes sub in NBME.hmmmmmm.hope i've improved in BH.

have confidence.56 days more.now get going.

55 days.......how days r passing.

i did neuro and gross anat today.feeling ok rt now.will see Q-bank qts now.

tomorrow gonna take 1/2 day break and try my hands on beef kababs.......i luv cooking.

tom planning to do a bit of genetics and Q-bank random slots.

53 days.......

today was a lousy day ,in the sense that i didnt study and stayed at home most of time.did cooking for the entire week.my hubby is not picky abt food so that is a big support.

today i started mol. biology and genetics......my weakest points.started by reading the 5th chapter.coz previously i thought its not imp...but now whn i see the qts i realize it.next am going to see few related qts. and complete a chapter bfr sleeping.

i plan on waking up at 6am from tues.i never ever compromise on sleep coz it drastically effects my conc. and effeciency.

ok so get going.i think i'll need 1 more day with this.but lets assess tomm night.

Smal ,i wanted to know more about the website you said you were using for anatomy .What is the webaddress .I am planning to look into it .Can't get anything into brain as far as anatomy is concerned .Thanks smiling face

dear step 12006,am sorry i dont 've any saved website as such,but if u search in google images with the muscle name u'll get the thing u need.try it once i think u'll figure it out urself.

am doing mol. biology today. finished biochem starting chapters .

now moving on to genetics.

for mol. biology am a little confused.i dont understand the sub that well.but i wont say i didnt improve after reading .i did qts from Q-bank,i think i'll just keep doing qts.and reffering relevent topics in the book everytime i do a wrong Qt.

genetis is confusing for me.but i gotta do it.

AND NOT PANIK.

anyway keepstudying and think positive.

51 days....

wasnt in a good mood todaay,was worried abt our GC processing......it aint gonna complete by 2008.so i'll be in a bit of sticky end.....a whole lot of it.anyway.

so biochem is to be read from FA.

thanks villa.i've an old edision of Kaplan coz it doesnt 've many qts at the end of chapter.but am doing Q-bank so it doesnt bother me.

keep spirits high..nobody but u've to beleive u can do it.

49 days...nerve racking

doing micro.i need a lot of revision and a lot of memorization in that subject.i have to complete it by today. tom will take up pharmac.

in the begining of micro i was very depressed,then int he second reading did good. although there r points i keep forgetting coz i am memorizing more coz i dont find anything i can understand in micro.same with pharmac.they r not like patho .i think a lot of medicine is memorirazion......or should i say understanding and remembering.

anyway.am trying to keep my efficiency high and not to fall asleep in afternoons as now i've started waking up early.its been 3 days now and i still feel sleepy.dear body get used to it soon.

i did pharmac leftovers,and just coz i had done only 100 qts,i did 1 bolck and got 59%.just day bfr yest i got 76%.how does it varry so much.am disappointed in myself.i keep telling its not for my judgement.but it feels really bad to score low just 46 days bfr the exam.this is really depressing.

am going to do physio now.

the tension of exams is catching up,am spending less time studying seriously and more time worring about it.it kills the enthusiasm and drains all energy.if i keep up this pattern its gonna ruin all the months labour

u r doing great smal. nobody ever seems to be well prepared for this exam.... thats USMLE. so dont worry. just make sure u r doing everything u can in these last few days

well 44 days left.i just keep losisng hope.even if i study and rem everything i study frm today i'll do it.but only if this though remains in my mind for long.

its a very imp time for me.beleive in urself

It used to happen to me all the times and then realised it's really not helping me .Still happens when i get lower scores than before .Those palpitations and then you feel down for rest of the day .You feel it's really hard and don't know how others do it .

I think it is part of the game .Try to stay as positive as you can . i freaked out and delayed my date .I don't think that helped me .Write some positive thoughts and paste them around your study area .When you get low scores ,just read them all ,take a deep breath and think how you would like to remedy the mistakes .This is starting to help me .Hope it helps you as well .
Just remember that every wrong attempt discarded is another step forward .
You will do well .

thats so nice.ya thats why i try not to judge myself after every block i do.but sometimes the whole feeling is very overwhelminging and i turn out wasting the whole day.

am doing qts and qts and more qts........

thats what i'll do the whole book.its high time i finish Q-bank.

havent been studying properly these days,
40 dyas to go

its 1 month for the exam.read few ppl's journals.and my schedule is as follows.

1.revise subj with FA.

2do 100 qts /day

3. 2 hrs of goljan's lectures.

4. since am studying subject wise......

average 2 days for each subject.,more for patho and anat.

stick to it till 13th and then do FA and personal notes alone.

Good going smal .I like the schedule .I hope we keep each other motivated and find inspiration from all the people working so hard here You have come a long way and now probably is most critical time .for us .What determines the score is probably how much confidence we have in ourselves .Have you ever noticed people who make it to 99 are always very optimistic

That's what i noticed in exam experiences and started to change my outlook .
