just wanted to add, please correect me if i'm wrong on this....
a/c exacerbations of ms are treated with corticosteroids
disease modifying agents are interferon beta, and glatimramer acetate..delaying onset of disability as well as decrease number of exacerbations
also, mitoxantrone is a drug used in ms...adverse effect of dose related cardiotoxicity
