Nope, I'm not superman, nor do i ride a bat...I'm not even a man...I have pretty average credentials, but i guess I've been hanging around with a lot of people who have had above average scores, and last year seen them offered pre matches left -right and centre...My friend attended 10 interviews last year and got offered 6 pre matches, she happened to need a H-1 visa, and that's why the question arose, as to whether the reason was that she required the visa so the process would take longer and thus the pre match offers.. On my part I'm just hoping that if on an interview i click with a P.D , then hey maybe us average people get to be offered a prematch aswell...All wishes, but what would we be without them???

- Question is not of green card ,citizen or one needing visa.ITs very simple..IMGs can be offered prematches and AMGs can not be offered this holy contract.When God made this world he was kind to some of us.You were one of these people who became recipient of Gods kindness.God made you an IMG and not an AMG .So you are eligible to eat the holy burger of prematch .

You got it absolutely right chemamr...AMGs cannt accept a prematch due to some contractual obligation.(essential wisdom through the courtesy of bbb)

amgs can also be offered a prematch. if they dont match in their first try and do somethin like mph or stuff in the interim. but usually they dont need to use it bcoz they are almost guaranteed a spot in the lesser competitive specs. and most of the unmatched amgs are in the super competitive specs where they wudnt even consider a prematch.
