2. a.differentials of bubo
b. lymphadenopathy ( without bubo)?

duz any one a learning aid for these?

1.a) painles ulcer- Lymphogranuloma venerum and Granuloma Inguinale
1.b) painful ulcer- Chancroid - Haem ducreyi ( you cry wink )

ulcer without lymphadenopathy is Granuloma Inguinale
ulcer followed by perirectal adenopathy ---groove sign Lymphogranuloma venerum

Buboes --> 3 main differentials
Bubonic plague
LGV
CHANCROID.

LGV histo --stellate abscesses. Primary lesion is a self healing papule or shalow ulcer.

Condyloma accuminatum-- papillary laesion..not buboes
Granuloma inguinale--spreading ulcer…not buboes
Hsv--vesicular..not buboes
Syphillis--no buboes
