Thank you for your inquiry regarding our Internal Medicine Residency Training Program here at the Albany Medical Center, Albany, New York. Please visit our website at www.amc.edu to view our online residency brochure.

Our program looks for candidates who meet the following criteria:

USMLE scores 80 or above on both Steps I and II

Clinical training (such as an externship) in the United States or the United Kingdom for at least 6 months. Two letters of recommendation from U.S. or U.K. Physicians with whom you have worked in this setting.

We sponsor J-1 visas only. We do NOT sponsor H1-b visas.

Application deadline is January 1st.

Thank you for your inquiry and your interest in the Fuld Campus Internal
Medicine Residency Program at Capital Health System, Trenton, NJ.

Currently our program has no unfilled positions for the 2006 - 2007 academic
year; we are unable to grant requests for observership / externship.

The answers to the most common questions about applying to our categorical
program are:

· Method of Application: ERAS only
· Deadline: January 15, 2007
· Required Documents: ECFMG / USMLE transcript / Medical School transcript / 3
letters of recommendation
· Visa sponsorship: none
· USMLE's: no more than 1 failure
· USMLE scores: no minimum
· Applications from IMG's: encouraged

We will fully review all applications that meet the above criteria. Last year
about 15% of those whose applications were fully reviewed were invited for
interviews. Characteristics which are apt to lead to an invitation for
interview include the presence of 2 or 3 or more of the following:

· attitudes expressed in the Personal Statement
· strong letters of recommendation (especially from academic environments)
· high rank in Medical School
· clinical experience in the United States
· familiarity with the health care environment in the U.S.
· advanced clinical training in a home country
· strong USMLE scores
· demonstrated record of success in research settings

International Medical Graduates who have completed all the necessary steps for
ECFMG certification are more apt to be invited for an interview than those who
have steps yet to complete. Applicants must be US citizens or Permanent
Resident (green card holder) to qualify.

For further information about our program please check www.capitalhealth.org
under the heading 'Services / Residency and Training.'

Dear Applicant:

Thank you for the interest you have shown in AtlantiCare Regional
Medical Center's Internal Medicine Residency Program. In order to
assist with your decision making process, particular criteria used to
prioritize applications are listed in this letter. Additional
information can be obtained about our Medical Center by visiting our
website: http://www.Atlanticare.org.

AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center is accepting applications primarily
through the Electronic Resident Application System (ERAS). All ERAS
applications will be reviewed before the review of any applications or
correspondence received via the mail.

All completed applications will be reviewed in their entirely. To be
considered the minimal information forwarded must include:

1) standard application information,
2) a Curriculum Vitae, and
3) Board Scores, and
4) medical school transcripts, and
5) verification of passing the CSA, and
6) a minimum of three (3) letters of recommendation. IMG's must
indicate possession of a standard ECFMG certificate.

Any one criterion will not determine whether or not you will be invited
for an interview. If your credentials approximate the following
filtering criteria but do not exactly meet a standard, your application
may still be considered. Initial filtering criteria for the review of
each complete application are listed below. Preference will be given to
applicants:

1) who have rotated at Atlantic City Medical Center (now
known as AtlantiCare

2) who have scored in the top 50th percentile on the
first attempt
of those taking the Board Examinations. (This is an
approximately a score

Medical Center and
4) preference will be given to those who have graduated

Dear Interested Candidate:

We thank you for your interest in the University of Arizona-Tucson
Hospitals Internal Medicine Residency program. In order to apply to our
program you must be enrolled in the National Resident Matching Program.
We will be utilizing ERAS (Electronic Residency Application Service) for
our application process. Only those applying through ERAS will be
considered. Please contact your Dean's Office for further information
regarding this process. We invite you to visit our electronic brochure
currently available on the internet at: http://www.meded.arizona.edu

In addition to ERAS application, we require your CV, personal statement,
USMLE scores, Dean's Letter, three letters of recommendation, and
medical school transcripts in order to process your application.
Deadline for receipt of application is November 15, 2006. Once
complete, your application will be reviewed and if applicable, we will
contact you for an interview.

International Medical School Graduates must contact the ECFMG-ERAS
Program at http://www.ecfmg.org/eras/ Please be aware that the Internal

requirements for IMG's (no required US clinical experience; no USMLE
"cut off" score; no limit on year of graduation and we prefer J1 visas.

We feel our program is a very strong and competitive Internal Medicine
Residency Program. We offer very comprehensive in-patient and
out-patient clinical training with opportunities in research for those
who are so inclined. All of our residents were very successful in
obtaining practice opportunities in general internal medicine and
subspecialty fellowships.

The morale among our residents is currently very high and Tucson is an
extremely enjoyable community. Should you have any further questions,
please do not hesitate to contact the office at 520-626-7000.

Dear Applicant,

We do encourage applications from qualified International Medical Graduates
(IMG'S).

Thank you for your interest regarding our Internal Medicine Residency Training
Program at Pennsylvania Hospital.

The following criteria are necessary for consideration:

· For those IMG'S who are not US citizens or permanent residents, we do sponsor
J-1 and H-1 Visas. As a University affiliated hospital (University of
Pennsylvania Health System) we are exempt from the annual cap. (The Department
of Immigration usually requires USMLE Step 3 for H-1 Visa applicants.)
· While we prefer USMLE scores (Step 1 and 2) of 200 or greater, there is no
absolute cutoff. Each application through ERAS is reviewed individually and a
decision to grant an interview is based on the applicant's overall merit.
· We prefer IMG's to have had clinical experience in the United States or the
United Kingdom. This would include but not be limited to a transitional or
preliminary year of training in the United States, or work as a senior house
officer or registrar in the United Kingdom. Other clinical rotations in the
United States or the United Kingdom with letters of recommendation from the
attending physician with whom you rotated would be very beneficial to your
application. For students attending medical school in the Caribbean, clinical
rotations in the 3rd and 4th year count as clinical experience in the US.
· There is no absolute cutoff for year of graduation from medical school. The
decision to grant an interview is based on your clinical experience since
graduation.

Again, let me emphasize that there are no absolute cutoffs to eliminate
applicants from the selection process. Each application through ERAS is
reviewed individually and in-depth. Decisions for offering an interview at
Pennsylvania Hospital are based on the applicant's overall strengths and
qualities.

In terms of deadlines; interviews may be granted with the ECFMG certification
pending; however to be include on our rank order list for the NRMP the deadline
for certification is Feb. 14th. In addition for those individuals requesting an
H1b visa, results on USMLE step 3 must also be available by Feb. 14th. Lastly
due to multiple reasons, including University of Pennsylvania requirements and
malpractice insurance issues there are no observer-type positions allowed at our
institution.

Please review our web site as I believe it will answer many of your questions.
The web address is www.pahosp.com, click on Medical Education, then Graduate
Medical Education and lastly click Medicine. If you should still have questions
after reviewing our web site, please contact Joy Robinson, our Program
Coordinator, at jorobi@pahosp.com

Unfortunately due to the many inquiries, we can not give individuals more
detailed information on the selection process than what is stated above.

The Selection Committee looks forward to reviewing your application.

Sincerely,

Dennis Policastro, MD
Residency Program Director

Thank you for your interest in the Department of Medicine at the Albert Einstein
College of Medicine and Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York. Please
visit our Website at www.aecom-montefiore-medres.org for information about the
Internal Medicine Residency Program at Montefiore Medical Center and the
different tracks we offer. Applications for each of our tracks are considered
separately and applications will be accepted through December. Interviews will
begin toward the end of November and are by invitation only.

We accept applications only through the Electronic Residency Application Service
(ERAS) and all of our positions are offered through the National Residency
Matching Program (NRMP).

Montefiore Medical Center sponsors J-1 and H-1 visas. For sponsorship, you must
hold valid ECFMG certification with valid expiration dates for English and CSA,
and have passed USMLE examinations. You may find additional information on your
consulate website or by contacting the INS. You will be responsible for all visa
administrative costs.

You must have taken and passed Step 1 and Step 2 of the USMLE examination, and
your results must be entered into ERAS before the Match deadline in order to be
considered for the Match. We do not have a minimum score requirement, however,
the program is very competitive and higher scores are more favorably considered.
Potential candidates should have completed medical school less than five years
ago and should have some experience in a medical setting, which is structured
similarly to the healthcare system utilized in Western Medicine and/or in the
United States. We have less than 10% of International Medical Graduates in our
program. In addition, we do not offer observerships or externships in internal
medicine at Montefiore Medical Center.

Applicants will be considered for an interview on the basis of their overall
record. Again, thank you for your interest in our program.
