Hello fellows......I've heard that quite a many residency progs require US clinical experience as a pre-requisite.....n u are not eligible to apply for a match in those! I ask this as I am an undergrad and am looking forward for my first US clinical experince soon...............its just that its costing me really high (approx. 2hundred thousand) and I have to enforce my parents in paying for my stuff!

I've contacts in US who say they'll give me observerships in US after graduation n after i finish up with my steps. I am really confused....altho I know how imp it is to have a clinical experience! as obsrvrshps are not as valuable as USCE!

Will really appreciate if you advice me on wat my future course should be........

thx in advance!

Some programs demand it.

Some programs prefer it.

Some programs don't require it.
