Not that I have been able to tell yet this year. Some were pretty easy to determine from last year, I think about 4 that I knew of. I'm certain that there were more. My first year here, a resident was at my desk and saw the screen open for here and freaked out that I was who I was. I almost felt famous..... But of course, if I am downloading, I can't check the information out so I haven't really looked closely.

okay, question for you, bbb.... If you have crappy scores with multiple attempts, is that automatically a boot?

bbb, just wondering for how long you have been in residency program business and for how long you have been hanging out here. Did someone told you about this board or you just found out yourself like most of us via interest search?

If I tell you that I have been working in residency programs since 1988, you will know that I am way older than I will confess that I am. I think I have been here since.....June of 2003 (had to check my profile, I didn't remember). I started out at another forum, that was attacked by killer bees and died a quiet death. I think that I was bored one day and search and found that forum. A member there told me about this one and it was an easy transition.

I am sorry if this question is a repeat. What is the cap your program has set on number of applications this year? 1634 looks scary and its ony 15th Sep. I wonder this is because IMGs are applying to more programs (avg 80-100) as compared to few years back. Or is this beacuse there is actually a big increase in the pool of applicants this year?

lol bbb your comments have a crippling effect on me.I will pray to GOD to make me a good enough candidate to be able to get an interview at your program. Only way to be successfull is to impress Molly somehow.

Dev, sometimes it's a very obvious screen name. Sometimes it's because they post where they are going to interview. Or they recognize the dog's picture. I am very happy that the few who do know who I am have maintained their code of silence. Laptop - Molly is impressed with "Greenies"

bbb I have collected a big stock of Greenies.I am also training myself everyday by running 10 miles .THis is to be able to take Molly for long walks or runs. Now please call me for an interview.I have mentioned the greenies and walking thing on my ps for your notice. Is there any genre of music liked by MOlly?? i will either buy a few records for her or Train to sing myself. I believe i am fully qualified and prepared to undergo the rigors and chills of your residency program.ANticipation and hope are what will keep me ticking untill you call me for and interview.

Molly prefers Robbie Robertson and Smashmouth. Her singing skills leave much to be desired. She would write you herself, but her lack of thumbs make it difficult to use a keyboard. And her spelling sucks. I'll have to do more searching, 17", greenies, long runs. Hmmmmm This may take until Monday.

ALready working on training to sing It is a good day to die. bbb what about making Molly use a microsoft writing software where she will only have to speak in the microphone and her said words will be typed on the e-mail.Or a simpler thing would be to let Molly use a mobile phone .Else i can write directly to her if you give me her e-mail address.Anything to impress MOlly .She will be the key to getting this interview. I can give some more clues about my stats which will make my appli stand out blatantly but i now fear getting rejected if noticed.

It is a good day to die....it was, wasn't it. Alas, Molly has trouble with a mobile phone. The flip mechanism escapes her and the lack of thumbs (again, it sucks to be a dog). But her tail is wagging and all is good in doggy land.

I am trying bbb to impress MOlly but her physical impediments(her lack of thumbs specially) are impeding the communication and thus jeopardizing my chances of interview. To make matters worse she is wagging her tail at my failure as if it was an independence day.Why cant GOd be just kind.Oh God it is a good day to die.

laptop wrote: ITo make matters worse she is wagging her tail at my failure as if it was an independence day. Oh, no. Molly wags her tail (or stub) only on days that end in "Y" I just wonder how many persons know what "Greenies" are before they did a google search. Inquiring minds want to know....

NO bbb Forgive my ignorance bbb,why did you call MOlly s tail a stub . I did not do a google search on greenies.BUt i must confess i did a yahoo search. Is Molly upset over people not knowing about Greenies and pestering her for interviews.Cant we do something about her lack of thumbs .She is a popular figure on this forum aand must communicate with us but that will require thumb and fingers. She can use a bluetooth headset to use a mobile ,i jjust figured out.All we need is her phone numbber.

Laptop - Molly's tail measures much less than your monitor - it's about 1" long. But size really doesn't matter.
