From personal experience, you don't HAVE to have the newest version. Not much has changed in medicine over 2 years. The only thing that comes to mind is COX2 Inhibitors, and we all know that those aren't being used in the States. (Vioxx scandal)

Just check the FDA to see which drugs were taken off the maket since the last edition of the Kaplan books you have, and then go from there. I did it that way, and it worked out well for me.

I am using the 2005-06 edition and I think its great. I wanted to know if anybody found the Surgery and Obgyne books to be a little thin???? Is all that is covered in Kaplan books enough?

Any input.?

I found some empty spaces in Rheumatology chapter in the internal medicine book (using 05-06 editions).
E.g. P65
Last 1/3 of the page:
The best screening test for SLE is _____________
The ________ and _____________ are specific antibodies for lupus..

Are such black spaces supposed to be found somwhere online or so?
I only noticed it in Rheumatology. Plus the 05-06 books still speak about COX2 as a measure of treatment. I am not sure if 06-07 is the same or not. My friend ordered 06-07 books from ebay I will take a look at them once they arrive.

Ok I have taken a look at 06-07 edition and compared it with my 05-06 edition.
THEY ARE EXACTLY THE SAME. Both have printing at the back saying "printed in USA 2005".
They are even the same color.

Hi, to all:

I have bought 2005-2006 electronic notes from kaplan but without Q Book. Could anyone send the Q BOOK file to me if you have it on your CD please? zhoufg@ho tmail.com Thanks !!

By the way, is there anybody notices that sometimes there is 1 or 2 pages skipped on those kaplan notes. eg, Psychiarty Chapter 20 is on page 101, then jumping to page 104/105. I was wondering what happened to page 102& 103? Could somebody check yours please?

Thanks GL
