1. When a cytogenetic abnormality is suspected in an infant with multiple congenital anomalies, chromosomes from circulating leukocytes are analyzed. These chromosomes are most condensed and easiest to evaluate in which of the following states? A. Anaphase B. Interphase C. Metaphase D. Prophase E. Telophase Qs are to be Explained, otherwise, please don't bother. On this case give examples of other tests you can run on these phases.

C. "[Chromosomes] are in their most condensed form during metaphase when the sister chromatids are attached. This is the primary stage when cytogenetic analysis is performed." http://www.ndsu.nodak.edu/instruct/mcclean/plsc43... A simple google search is all it takes =)
