welll there are ppl trying... me and tolito are examples.. however i before i bombard u withsuggestions, i wud like to ask as to how recent a grad are u, whether uve taken step 1 and what u feel abaout ur clinical background?

My suggestion right off the bat would be: Sign up for a 3 month period on UW. Take a test. IF you're hovering around 50% (no cheating) there, you're probably ready within 3 months. If lower, start studying and maybe consider the 5-6 month timeframe. If higher, keep studying, and go full force. You want to be at least around 65% a month before the exam. Good luck.

im graduated last year ,i started studying for step1 from nov.05 to aug.06 and gave my step1 on 30th aug.... its been 17days since i took my exam ,im awaiting my result .Its hard to study but i want to try atleast. as far as the clinical background is concerned took my medical rotations during med.school.. No internships ..

very doable then..i assume ur not working. btw spebeeto has a pretty good suggestion..though an inital 50 % on UW , may be shud be lower, actually. GOOD luck
