when is the best time for step2?

Hi all,
I want to know that to be eligible for match in March 2005, when is the latest I can take the USMLE step 1 and 2???.

Prior to the interview season would be best. Aim for September.

How does this sound?? taking Step 1 in June 1st week. Step2 CS in July,since i will be in USA at that time And Step 2 CK in October. Will I be late for the Interview season???

My aim is to go for step 1 in september 2004 , what is my dead line to take step 2( ck,cs ) in order to be able to apply for resedincy program in 2005? (i think usualy we apply in september 2005?)
