Congratulations to all those who have received early interview calls. Can ya'll do us a favour and provide your credentials, scores, USCE, graduation year, Visa status and specialty your are applying for?

This will help people to better prepare themselves for next match.

The reason i wanted to start this thread was precisely what you said "there are many threads going on regarding this"...it takes a whole lot of time to go thru each one of them and extract info....By posting credentials here we will have a general idea about this years trend, program's filters, and ofcourse what credentials are on top of programs lists. i have heard they send out interviews in groups and the ones they send out interviews first are probably the most desirable ones.

So its your choice to contrubute or not but it really cant hurt anyone.

And as i said earlier we would appreciate the info.

Although I really do not know if this is an early call or the only one that I am going to have... hehe

Graduated 2001
95/89/passed
ECFMG cert
General Surgery residency completed at home
6 publications
1 year of experience in Transplant surgery (Germany)
Need VISA (J1 will be fine)
No USCE
No US LoRs

Applyed for 62 Surgery Prog in Sept 9

1 call from a commun university afil hosp
No rejections until this moment

why don't we edit our post in the credential match marathon an add IV's and rejections there, I think it would be more helpful, we can do this through the match season and also add if we finally matched or not and where, this way it is a single thread that has all the info from this year's match and will be beneficial for everyone to have. I will do so with mine I think it is better than creating a whole new thread. Check it out and see if you like it.
