Hi purposedriven I had the interview at temple on 11/15. I believe we met then. Are you an IMG or AMG?

I have matched to an OBGYN prog - as I interviewed only for them. Any idea why NRMP takes three days to tell where you matched rather than at the same time when they let you know that you are matched. Do they perform some shuffing with matched candidates?

Hey purpose, congrats for the TY! I will submit my application in October also... I have a few questions: 1. Why did you choose for TY instead of a PGY-1 in General Surgery to reapply later for OG? 2. Did you have anyone calling the PD in your behalf to recommend they give you an interview? 3. Who gave you the LOR? I am in the middle of my research fellowship, and need to retake the CS, but passed all the rest. Have completed residence already and graduated in 2000. I appreciate your feed back, I am feeling really down for some moments... Thank you.

Hey werther I am going for obgyn but also applied to preliminary year/TY, just in case....but have only 1 IV for PY so far and 14 for obgyn I think most hospitals save their TY/PY positions to their own programs......and only give away the ones that last.... come to the obgyn match forum how are your iv??
