what makes you differentiate current jelly..and rusty sputum

what's the points? if a patint is a alcohol.... does it make it difficult?

kaplan lecture said...Klebsiella pt. is clammy...(d/t septic shock..i guess)
are there any other points to help?

Current Jelly = reddish mucoid sputum characteristic of Klebsiella usually involvement of apices (necrotizing pneumonia)

Rusty = Rust colored sputum characteristic of STreptococcus pneumoniae involving mainly lower lobes
