this q is not complete. can someone give any imp details regd this q? change in the chromosome number in hypertrophy? 1n 3n 4n the 2n was not among the choices!!!!!!!

Well I read in an article in which it was saying that in exctreme hypertropphhy the DNA is duplicated and becomes 4N. U can google this? and I remember someone discuss this Q on USMLEORUM site and he was saying that this is exam Q. so better look for hypertrophy in google.com GL

In humans ONLY, the somatic cells have 46 chromosomes arranged in 23 pairs . hypertrophy is of somatic cells rt.so i think 4n.
