hey all....thought someone might find this useful... Thank you for considering the Family Medicine Residency Program at Memorial Hospital and Brown University. The requirements for applying to our residency program are as follows: You must apply through ERAS. Once you apply we will need a completed application form, personal statement, 3 letters of reference, Dean's letter, transcripts, and the scores from the USMLE. All of this information has to be sent electronically. There are no minimum scores, we will be looking at the whole file. We sponsor J-1 visas. The hospital is also willing to accept the transfer of an existing H-1B visa. Foreign students must apply through ERAS, be ECFMG certified and hands-on clinical experience in the US is preferred (no minimum but the more the better). There are no exclusions based solely on date of graduation or date USLME was taken. Currently there are three PGY 1 FMGs and three PGY 2 FMGs in our program and we accept 13 interns each year. Applications are accepted through December 31st. Our web site address is ; and visit . Interviews will take place from November to January. Thank you for your interest in our program. gl everyone....
