hi retail. I just set my exam date oct 22/23. so I have to start. I am planning to subscribe to uw in a day or two. are you reading step 2 notes?

S2 Ck. Actually read in forum smwhere s3 not that great have u gone thru them[s3 notes] I mean.
My mail box is empty-no call/no rejection. Applied on 11th. Think I will not check it for 2 days now.

Hi promoter. Welcome and good luck.
I had to break at the weekend coz of stuff going on. Before that I did about 150 qs on uw and about 6 CCS caases(just reading thro). Not at all a good score. Hope to pick up the pace this week.
I am not spanish. I dont know any ship called amygdala. Actually I like the name of the character Amydala in Star wars, but then picked up my current name due to its closeness to Amydala and its medical connection. That s all.
Today I plan to do about 100 qs(with answers), plus finish reading ans for 50q from last week. I think it is too much of a plan, lets see.

I am doing UW but doing really bad on the qS. i AM CONSIDERING GOING BACK TO THEORY FROM TOMORROW. aND ON TOP OF EVERYTHING ELSE MY sTEP 3 PERMIT HASNT REACHED IN 14 DAYS AND THEY WILL SEND me a duplicate. [Didnt mean to highlight, but didnt realize cap locks was pressed].

last night my internet was down, so could not do qs. I just finished 250 qs. way behind. upto 10 ccs.
retail, my s3 permit took longer to come too. Atleast you have started prep before it is here. I waited until scheduling to start :-)

Thats pretty good, Amygdalaa. Personally I am not able to manage more than 70Qs in a day.

Yes, I am giving the total mcqs in my posts. I am not able to do more than 100 on my best day. But that is ok since we need to read the explanation for the right and wrong answers. I am using uw as mostly a learning tool. So far I have not revised my s2 notes. I plan to soon.
70qs per day is pretty good. Keep going...........

Hello again, retail, amygdalaa and Promoter, preparing for step 3 was full of distractions for me as well. But it is a relief to complete it. Revising CK notes is a bit of challenge when doing MCQs from UW. I tried to revise it topic wise before doing MCQs, but could not because of time constraints and also, since the material was vaguely familiar, my study was not really focussed. I got bored and did not gain much. Alternately, I decided to simply solve the MCQs from UW without regards to the score and then look up the concepts from CK while reading UW explanations. This way, I also felt that I remembered what I looked up much better. But some topics I had totally forgotten since my CK prep- like the definition of arrest of progress in labor, what variability of HR is expected of a term infant- the little details that we need to remember for the exam. Looking these up just before solving MCQs will make a big difference to score and confidence. Depending on the topic, I did a quick revision before MCQs or the MCQs rightaway or whatever came next. The important thing is to make the most of time and keep working I guess. All the best to all of you!

Lisa- I noticed that he s3 forum is not an active on e like ck or step1. I was lost at the beginning, coz there is not much feedback. So it is very good to have you help us with your tips and suggestions. Thanks
