i took step1 on august 31st, my last day of my eligible period, feeling very bad afterwards, i am so eager to know my score, does any one know when should i receive my score? thanks!

The oasis should update your score on Sept. 21st and you can expect to receive your score in mail that Saturday or the following week depends where do you live.
it is an anxious waiting period for everyone.

i took my exam on 22nd and my oasis has not been updated yet....whats with that ?

Actually My situation is worse , I took mine in august 8 ( 5 weeks ago ) and I am still waiting for my result and unfortunately there is no sign of it yet on oasis . It seems like they ' ve forgot about me . Well guys , since we are in the same boat , Can you please tell me guys ( exam soon , doctousa and Korotkoff ) where did you you take the exam ,I have the feeling that people who took it in the state have their result sooner , please correct me if I am wrong ! I took mine in Mexico , It seems like it depends of where you take the exam . Please write back and hopefully we all pass this exam . Gob bless you all

It can take upto six weeks for the oasis to update. Many people get it right after 3 weeks, but ECFMG is clear it can take UPTO 6 weeks, and won't entertain phone calls or requests for information unless those 6 weeks are up, so be patient... nothing is wrong, with some people ECFMG stretches out the whole 6 weeks before the result comes out.

Thanks for your kindness DrPak , Today I called them since 6 weeks are already passed and they told me that like you said there is nothing wrong , it s just that they are veryfying my papers and my student status so seems like there is nothing I can do but just wait . I hope that the result will worth all that time of torture

If you haven't graduated, the ECFMG will not release ur scores unless your college verifies that you are a student there. Contact you college and ask them if they've receieved and processed the request from ECFMG verifying that you are a student there.

Thanks DR Pak and Lisa 25 . That 's exactly the problem , I haven ' t graduated yet , I took the exam while I was doing my social service in Mexico . As a matter of fact , my college already sent them the verification paper and they got it and now I am supposed to wait ten buiseness day . I have a question for you Dr Pak , Do you think they would still check my student-status if I failed or it doesn' t matter ? Some people told me may be it 's because I passed but I don' t really know if this has something to do . What do you think ?

@doc_clotaire I think they'd check to see if you're a student regardless of whether you passed or failed. I don't know this for certain, but it makes sense to me. I can't study for my Step 2 untill the step 1 result is here. I've had the rotten luck of having my result lost by the USPS. I've requested ECFMG to send me the result again.

Hey Guys , finally they realeased my score , I did the Oasis Trick yesterday and find out that I PASSED . It feels so good after almost 2 months waiting . I will tell you more when I get my score . Thanks Dr Pak and please tell me about your score . Did you finally get it ?
