Just Took the CS. Unfortunately, I had 4 Neuro cases and other cases
requiring more complete Physical Exam. I have to skip some exam in order to
finish in time. Even for the easy cases, I forgot to ask certain Qs that
should be asked. When I explain the Diagnosis to the SP, most of them do
not look like they are convinced; they did not smile or nod. And there are
only a very few positive answer to my Qs, so I ended up writing a lot “no
…, deny…” in my patient notes. Would anyone please let me know whether is
this normal? Or I failed the ceases?
How are the 12 cases scored? Certain 2 cases are experimental cases that
won’t count? Or the 10 highest scores (no matter which cases) will be
used to calculate the final score?
I used 1st Aid and UW which I think is enough. Although I found some of my
cases are tough, but they are all covered in these two review sources. I
graduated long time ago, and did not attend any CS courses which I think is
waste of money. I do not have any communication problem. The fact that
bothers me is most of other examinees on my day are American Medical
students, 4-5 FMGs, seems either in practice at their home country ot
recently graduated. I feel I am the one who has the least Clinic
experience. 
I feel so uncertain. The only thing I can do is to pray, pray, pray… God,
please bless me pass the CS! If you are religious, please pray for me; if

cs is a very easy exam and u have to really make a huge blunder to fail in it
so b happy

dear zzpearl...dun worry because I faced the same situation as yours with just 2 IMGs including me on the day...and then I had 5 neuro patients 
but what I did was just complete everythin within time...
I also did the same thin that the diagnosis used to be in my mind but explained the wrong one to the patient...dont worry they just rank you for EXPLAINING YOUR DIAGNOSIS they dont rank you for CORRECT DIAGNOSIS ....
and whenever I started to write the patient note...I just get the flash back that I explained the wrong one inside and I should have told the patient this one ..bla bla..
as for the least experience thingee.. I just entered my final year of medical school...I aint american and my mother language is different...all I am is this confidence and fluency..that I hope you also have...thats all that was needed I guess...
so dont worry you will pass..even though I was terrified by the fact that they have increased their CIS passing limit but still I passed..so if I can pass.. you can definitely pass... prayers for you .. tc

loser i have to disagree with you i dont think that cs is a very easy exam. unfortunately that is the word on the street but i think that they have made this exam more difficult this year because the pass rate is too high on first attempts that is why they have raised the standards.

i failed in cs though i didn't make big blunder but i got failed  as I didn't adequate questions as per their check-list, so going to appear again. this exam is not easy. it looks easy... so we should prepare well.
what was your exam. center?

loser, are you sure the best 10 are scored , i thought they don't score 2 that are experimental.
