Hi everyone,

If anyone can give their input for the following....I havent yet sent in applications for this year. If I do apply, it will be latest by the beginning of october; additionally I will be limiting myself to 20 or less IM programs. History: 2005 IMG, wud apply with 2 step scores minus CS result.
I wanted to know, if this is going to be as good as not applying at all? I realise on a broader perspective, anything is possible and I shud be taking the plunge. However, it would help greatly knowing from other people's experiences if applying that late to a limited number of programs without ecfmg cert is statistically logical?

BTW, its been real exciting reading the many motivated posts for 2007 Match. Seeing that there are so many interesting characters with great credentials participating, I can only imagine the job that lies ahead for PDs in making their lists this year!:o) All the best to each one of you!

Your scores, visa status, all count. Good scores with permanent residency/citizenship- might be a safe bet.

By the way, although it was just hearsay, that for every 10 interview apps that an IMG puts in, he'll get 1 interview. Alright, might be baseless, but I used it to place my bets..

if an img who needs visa apply to atleast 50...if citizen chill and apply to 20....
