A 67-year-old man complains of urinary retention. On rectal examination, a firm nodule is detected on his prostate and his PSA levels are elevated. After receiving pharmacologic therapy, the man’s symptoms worsen and his PSA increases slightly over the first two weeks, and then gradual improvement occurs over several months. Assuming the man's cancer is responsive to androgens, which of the following drugs did he most likely receive? A. Finasteride B. Flutamide C. Ketoconazole D. Leuprolide E. Prazosin
