A 15-year-old girl presents with dyspnea, cough, and wheezing. Ear, nose, and throat examinations are normal. After a careful history, it is determined that she has drug-induced bronchoconstriction. Her symptoms are likely a result of taking a drug that blocks which of the following enzymes? A. Cyclooxygenase (COX) B. 5-Lipoxygenase (5-LOX) C. Phosphodiesterase (PDE) D. Phospholipase A2 (PLA2) E. Phospholipase C (PLC)
