hi im new to this site. i wanted to ask for your help on my exam. i recently failed my step 1 and wanted to ask u guys what are the best review questions yall consider to practice before the exam. ive done 3 months of QBANK 100% of the questions and got a cumulative score of 75%. and was scoring in the upper 70s and low 80s for majority of the last month on 50 question random exams. i thought i was doing fairly well but only got a 173/72 on my real exam.
i felt that after doing so many qbank questions that i got used to the format and was answering questions on repeating concepts over and over. i need to study for the exam over again but am worried that i might have already memorized most of the questions and answers. i scored well on my nbme at least enough to pass. and thought i would do well on my exam. i know i couldnt fall asleep the day before my exam but still thought i knew enough to pass at least. also i had alot of molecular questions which i totaly underestimated.
what do yall think is the best bank of questions in my situation? i really need help in molecular bio so also if you guys knnow what are the best books for learning it and the best review questions to do it from. i founf on my exam that the molecular questions i was getting wasnt even remotely similar to kaplan qbank molecular questions. has anyone tried pretest molecular? usmleworld, usmlerx, or FA?

i think you should drop qbank and qbook for your sec attempt or do it only as a review tool and not for assesment of ur progresss

stick to your books and revise them as many times as you can ! be honest to your self if you dont know the stuff dont rush rather spend some time until ur confident that u know ur things!

what source of reveiw books did you use.did you use 1st aid.sounds like your q-bank scores were good.keep your head up.your close to passing.I would advise going over 1st aid several times in addition to lots of questions.good luck
