FOR INTERNAL MEDICINE:

We require that all applicants have a two-digit score of 83 or above on all steps of the USMLE (first attempt only).

We only accept applications from those individuals who have graduated from medical school within the past 18 months
and must have had clinical experience during this time.

For foreign medical graduates from non-English speaking countries, we require a TOEFL score of 285 or greater.

We accept applications only via the ERAS system. Our application deadline is 12/1/06.

We do accept visas, but do not initiate the paperwork for completion. We do sponsor H1, however, we do not
pay any attorney fees associated and we are exempt from the cap.

In terms of externships, we have commitments to our regional medical schools and the medical students from those schools
typically fill all available slots. Additionally, our requirements for students outside of our region are that the individual
must be currently enrolled in a medical school, and be in good standing in order to be considered, then it is by application only.

The above link and this is for GENRAL SURGERY:

Requirements for all applicants to our programs are that scores must be above 80 on all steps of the USMLE, first attempt only. We require that your graduation date be within the last 18
months and that you have had continuous clinical experience during that time, however, US clinical experience is not mandatory. We only accept applications via the ERAS system and our deadline date is December 1. We do sponsor H1 and J1, however, we do not generate any paperwork nor do we pay any fees associated. We are exempt from the H1 cap.
