Guys I got my step 3 result yesterday and after days of fear and dilemma I finally passed the exam I got 84/206 in step 3.
Now let me breif you about my experience
I took step 3 exam on 13/14 aug and got my result on sept 11 2006
Since i took step 2ck in may end 2006, i was pretty fresh with my CK knowledge and hence after taking a break of one month i started prep for step 3 july and studied for 1.5 months
Resorces i used:
1. USMLE world revised twice.
2. Kaplan q book did once
3. CCS from usmle world
Thats is took the exam in the middle of my clinical observership hence I studied for 3 hours per day

congrats scapula..great score...but i didn't know that one can take an exam on sundays too...

Hi
congrats.
I took my step 2 Ck in July last week and scored 89.I had done the Kaplan Step 2 CK books then.
Can you advise me whether I should read step 2 ck books again or go straight to crush and usmleworld.
Would like to finish step 3 by Nov.
Appreciate ur help.

many many congrats on passing the exam
i can realise what an experience it must have been
i did the same prep as u did
i gave my exam on 12th and 13th of sept
i studied step 2 notes, usmle world twice and scored 50 % on it.
did kaplan q bank and got 67% on it
but friend my Ist day of exam didnt went good and 2nd day was ralatively better
i just wanted to know how u felt after exam and before getting results
please let me also know ur scores in usmleworld q bank and kaplan q bank
ur few lines can help me a lot
i will really appreciate them
i m scared as u must have been before ur result
help me
what should i expect?
