please any one who took both steps till me which one is harder and which one do most of you get higher result , i would love for as much of you as possible to tell me the scores of both tests to have an idea

hi lily, I dont know about others but I thought step 2 was easier then step 1...well I am still waiting on step 2 results....but step 1 ask about your basic knowledge from your medical school, on the other hand, step 2 is more clinical oriented. if you have very strong basic science foundation..I would say you wont have much trouble with either step...about which step yields higher score depends on individuals and how much effort they put for each step...in my case, I definitely put much more hard work toward step 2..since I had very little time for step 1..anyways I hope it answer your Q in someway

by ecfmg stats, img's score higher at step 2.

thanx, though that doesn't make me happy i was hoping to get higher score in step 1

that is only statistics, it does not mean there is nobody who has done better at step 1 than 2. i may just prove to be one of those who will do better at step 1 than 2 . i am just not having enough time to prepare for step 2 still i want to go in 3 weeks' time. dont lose hope.
