I have recently taken a 200 question NBME exam. I would like to know how they convert the number of questions you have answered correctly into their unique three-digit score (the one with a maximum of 800).
This topic interests me because I would like to know how many more questions I would have needed to answer correctly in order to achieve a score >650, when I initially scored 510. I know its a big gap, but I supposed if I knew approximately the difference in correct versus incorrect answers, it would give me encouragement in the future.
