I like this! here I go.. when we talk about a diagnostic test we need the test to be accurately enough to seek for desease!... there we go with spec and sensib... ok every well done investigation about a diagnostic test must be compared with a standard something we can measure for real and be sure about the test helped to diagnose. So the Gold Standar is what common tests are compared to... is the most accurate test with high spec and high sensib... hope this can help!
