at age 16 person becomes an independent individual, right? question is ,suppose a 12 or 13 years old girl comes for the prescription of oral contraceptive or to request abortion. If her parents want to know about her, should doctor tell them everything or not?

i thought 15yr was the cut off age for partial emacipation with respect to prescription of contraceptive, treatment of std, prenatal care and substance abuse??? full emacipation can occur at over 13yr if she is living on her own. this child is less so we have to tell teh parents.
