i did step 2ck and now i'm preparing for step 1 can somebody who took both and have the results already give me a comparison , and if i studied as much as i did for step 2 what is you expectations regarding the score, in general which test can one have a better score usually? my score in step 2 ck was 90.it would be nice for as many of you as possible to post the scores of both tests .

Lily111, just go through other people's exam experiences and look at the score thread and you'll find the answer to your question.

most don't post their step 1 result , did you take any of the steps already?

My simple answer to your question is that a lot of step 1 concepts are repeated on the exam. i was actually welcoming the step 1 questions on there because in generally they were easier and took less thinking. The diagnostic quetsions on the step2 really expects you to make loose connections. For example the question wont give you a typical lab value or hx but yet expect you to make the diagnosis. This was especially true for the matching questions.
