hello to everyone on this forum. lot of people ve asked the same question but i am not sure about the answer. I ve 4 lor's from my home country, 1 waiting to get from u.s physician.
my question is that can i send all my 4 lors to programs and later deassign 1 lor and replace it with u.s lor? or send 3 now and 4th (U.S)later on? if i send 3 ,programs havin requirement for 4 lors might consider my application incomplete and reject it. please help me i am really confused.

You cannot deassign a LoR if the program has already downloaded ur letter (max no. a program can download is 4). U can send in 3 and assign the 4th one and wait for it to be available.

call eras or email them...I got a mixed email when I asked them the same question...they though advised me to assign 3 and leave one space empty till my other letter becomes available...so u can wait to apply to those couple of programs that require 4 LOR and apply to the ones that require 3 LOR first...
