1. what mechanism does alpha agonists(Epinephrine) increase the outflow of aqueous humor from the eye?

i think clonidine does that cause it acts on presynaptic alpha-2 of ciliary epithelium.(decrease of NE)
(which originally postsynaptic-beta does production of aquesous humor,so beta blocker also can be used)

2. why specifically can't epinephrine be used in closed-angle glaucoma?

----------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------

*acetazolamide can't be used with somebody who has sulfur allergy.
*in Open angle glucoma, osmotic agents and cholinomimetics only can be used.(others are slow onset of actions)

are there more to know? let's add together..about Glucoma drugs..anythings are welcomed.
thanks in advance.
