can anybody tell me the number of words or characters in a PS so that it fits in 1 page of eras system. My PS is about 550 words and it is still more than 1 page when i try to print it from Myeras. this also includes the MYERAS logo. please advise. thanks

You are in trouble my friend. any PD will reject your application if your PS is longer with one letter than one page. I advice you to erase MyERAS logo. ,

If you feel the urge to cut down something from your PS go ahead and do it, but a 550 words is rather short (or enough) than long.

Vai - you sure about that?? My PS is 1.5 pages... you're saying it will get rejected? I didn't see any requirements regarding the maximum length of the statement...

i am sorry for that, i was just kidding.

The Personal Statement is limited to 28,000 characters,

Programs view your Personal Statement as flat, black and white ASCII text that is in Courier New 10pt font.

it is good to limit your PS to one page/one page and a half. PD time and patience are limited so be short. A good PS will do almost nothing but for sure a bad PS will hurt you, so, statistically speaking the chances of doing mistakes grows with the size of your PS.

I am going to write only my name in P.S. to be sure of no typos ( joking again)

Mine is about 375... What I have to say, I say it. No blah, blah. They hear enough blah blah as it is, in my opinion.
