I am trying to finish the first reading for a long time now,but now I am seriously short on time and I am planning to take the exam by december.
today's target:dvd pulmonology
lecture 1,2 done so far.My goal for tonight is to finish lecture 3 and 4.

thanx studying.
Personally I feel the dvd lectures on pulmonology are a waste of time.The only topic I find he have some extra information that might be useful is on thromboembolism.Rest everything is written there in the notes and written in a better way.Any way,i am lagging behind,still doing pulmonology lectures.,I think I will be finishing those tonight.

dont worry!! there is endless info out there..i was in a similar dilemma s far as step 1 was concerned ..the best solution..try to read a given chapter by urself, the next day do the video and see if u know the answers to the qs the teachers ask..or, read the next chapter with the dvd..the whole point is to assist retention..so u havnt wasted ur time
cardiology videos are a must do. surgery arent that helpful. neuro intermediate. gi lower down. dunno about the rest but if u hav to choose, choose the ones by dr fischer first

hi cooper is this ur first read...i dont know about pulmo dvd but rest were good..at least these tapes make me sit and listen ....are u learning simmultaneously as u are listening

yes this is the first reading.I feel I am understanding the notes better and I wont regret listening to the lectures.Its taking too much of the time though.

Todays target is Cardio lectures.My dvds has 4 lectures in total and the notes are pretty bulky.So far I like the teacher.I think the best way is to first listen to the lectures and then read the notes for cardio.

sept 14:
Started off with questions.I have done 25 questions so far.random internal medicine questions.I find step 2 questions very different than step 1.They are very twisted and complex.The theory is easy though.
Now doing the last two lectures from cardio.
