hi, anybody starts for 2007 residency application? i need your advice. i am a very old img (graduation year 1995), do i have to submit MSPE and how? since it has been such a long time, my medical school has changed several deans and there is no way any of the deans will know me. how to deal with such awkward situation? please give me any advice. thanks a lot.

It is always better to have a deans letter/mspe instead of a blank filler. Dont think it carries too much weight for an IMG. Also I am not sure most Deans who have given their students a letter knew them personally anyways. In case other students from your college have tried getting a deans letter, he must be familiar with the procedure. If not, u can always introduce him to the process and ask him to what all u could write that he wouldnt mind signing. In my opinion, give it a try!

hi friends another question. what's the format of mspe? in the eras manual. there is a template of mspe. can we just use that template? or should be a letter format like recommendation letter. could anybody give any sample letter? thanks a lot.
