hi, buddy, i am wondering if dean's letter is a must for us FMG; i checked w/ some people, it seems two different type of ideas:
1. dean's letter is BETTER to have, since some progrm might feel uncomfortible if you don't have it
2. it is actually REDUNDANT, and actually might hurt your application, if you have graduated for several years, nobody care if you have it or not.
so, what should I do? it might take me a lot of time and energy to find some &*^%#@ to sign the dean's letter, i am thinking about just forgetting it. is it ok? anybody has real examples?

I personally do not thing that deans letter carries any weightage in IMG's application.But for some selected few programs it is written in their policy that they require deans letter for application to be complete.So its still better to have one in the package than the blank filler paper.
