gout: usually attacks first great toe , hyperurecemia , urate or MSU crystals in SF.Its male dominant disease. MSU crystals are needle shaped

pseudogout : usually attacks knee joint first , no hyperurecemia , calcium crystals(CPPD) , Equal incidence in males and females. CPPD crystals are rhomboid shaped.
