Endoscopy is performed on an elderly individual with a protein-losing
gastroenteropathy. The endoscopy demonstrates markedly enlarged rugal

It shows giant thickened gastric folds(enlarged rugae)....and pt develops severe hypoprteinemia and anasarca.
