hie...
can any one tell me if i need to email or phone the programs i have applied as soon as i take my CK... i already have taken STep 1 and CS and in my CAF, i wrote that i ll take CK in sep so should i email them now...???any one plz

Hi Faiskhan,
Its not necessary to mail the programs about that... They will anyway get the results of your CK before u do if u have asked for the USMLE transcript to be directly updated and sent. Well, any other opinions?

U can call anyways if u want, to find out if they've had a chance to look at ur application and mention it, but as indiadoc said ....it will autmatically update in ur application if u've asked for the USMLE transcript.

It would be a good excuse to e-mail programs that you are really interested in. Something like "I just took my step 2 ck and am very interested in "$%^$%$" program because of "%^%^%^%^%^$" .. If you can make a good case of why you are interested it could help you.
Just don't expect a reply.

thanks guys...i really appreciate it.... by the way.. how can i be sure if i select the auto transmisson at the time of submission or not... koz i am not really sure if i did it or not...thanks a bunch

Hi
you can go on the usmle transcript page of my ERAS and click on it..it'll show whether u have chosen yes/no for auto transmission of the transcript
