I have my ck and cs results available, but for step1 I'm scheduled at the end of September.
How late can I take step1 to be eligible to participate in Match 2007?
Is the end of October ok (coz I don't feel exactly ready to take this exam yet).
Would appreciate Your response.

I think 1 month late wont make much difference in ur case.Prepare well for step 1 and keep the programs updated with ur status.
