a 33 year old comes with progressive cough, dyspnea and weight loss. he is a know case of HIV and on testing , his CD4 counts were less than 50/micrl. a new drug was added to his HAART regimen. after 4 weeks following addition of the new drug, his fasting blood glucose levels are elevated . which drug could have caused this?

a. tmp-smx
b. azt
c. indinavir
d. azithromycin
e. foscarnet
f. acyclovir

That is true it is Indinavir.

But what is the most common and most serious side effect of Indinavir ??
