terrific! you are right Spironolactone has anti androgenic effects

yup! spironolactome is an aldosterone AND ANDROGEN RECEPTOR BLOCKER!

HEY GUYS... finesteride and leuprolide are also androgen antagonista...how do you spironolactone above them...? :?

finasteride is more of an androgen antagonist than spironolactone....finasteride is a 5alpha reductase blocker..prevents formation of testosterone while spironolactone is a receptor blocker.. this is a tough question as they have given both choices..pls someone suggest which shud be correct..
