i am amazed and depressed by reading through this post..both at the same time.
i am an IMG (foreign national) with an average of 85 on my steps, 3 months of observership in psych, 1 month in neuro. my mspe and US lors were uploaded late in the match season.
as a result, i ended up getting just 3 interviews. all of you here seem to be veterans.
how would you rate my chances for this match? or should i concentrate on the scramble already?shaking headshaking head

Has anybody heard anything about the West Virginia University Psych program in Morgantown, or has anybody interviewed there? I would love to share my impressions of the program and get some feedback!

Thanks!

Hey tinkerbell,

I have similar stats as you've listed and I would recommend that if you didn't feel confident with how your interviews went to make sure that you are in the vicinity of one of the programs that you interviewed at. That way if you end up not matching and you see that they have an opening you can be at their doorstep in no time. If you didn't like any of the places you interviewed at then I would suggest flying to NYC and just being in that area so you could do the same thing when the scramble list comes out. Hope things work out well!
