no. of interviews depend mostly on your credentials and past clinical/research experience in psychiatry; i would advise atleast 50 programs to improve the chances of getting matched...

Hi guys
after desperately waiting for interview call for the whole day, my obsessive ritual of checking mail went really worse; to maintain my interest in psych i read an article which immediately struck my mind; and the topic was rapid cycling mood disorders; i was surprised to know that it kind of provokes similar mood swings when i see a rejection or interview call (definitely near to non existent) but the good aspect of this disorder is that person likes to be manic; and again this is what i am looking forward to; hope it turns out to be manic phase ( and i dont need any medication) next week with interview calls . GL ALL

the email says its on 2nd nov at 1.00 pm in the main building auditorium...i think its a standard mail they send every1...i hav a friend doing externship over there and she told me they r other people with lot of contacts and they will probably get the slot...but i wud still recommend every1 to go and giv the exam...u never know...i will giv it myself too b/c nyc is not very far from my house n my inlaws live there so not a prob 4 me...instead of feeling bad afterwards if u dont giv it,i wud say we all appear in it...good luck to every1..

As per my knowledge Jamaica does not sponsor any visa ( neither H1 nor J1), But you should still confirm.
