Hi,I am new to this forum. I really like the way members help each other. I need some advice. I am IMG have passed step 1, CK&CS. I am applying for residency this year. I have Green card. I am freenowadays , I want to know if I take step3 before residency, is there any advantage or disadvatage of taking it now before residency&
how important the step3 score? I hope I'll get sicere advice from this forum. Thanks

as what i understand passing step 3 is for the purpose of h1. since you have gc, it might not be so necessary. but you are free now anyway and the residency program later on will keep you too busy to prepare the exam, so it is really no harm to take it before you start your residency. just my opinion.
