Hi all who FAILED step 2CS
I have my performance profile in front of me,It shows that my CIS score was terrible, very close to lower performance line, even with an Asterisk, well I need to focus more on this part for next time , instead of ICE and SEP.
Now my question for you who have the experience of Fail in atep 2cs is to post your Performance profile to find out what is realy level of each part for them , since I was thinking and counting on it that Cis will effect positivly on my general score, but apparently did not.
So please if it is not against this forum's policy and if you agree ,please add your experience.

When did you take CS? I wonder how the change in passing requirements will affect the pass rate.

I took in june, 2006 , it was supposed to be b4 changes , still I do not know how this happened , how will the changes be?

Hi AAzad,
Lots of people failed CS but they do not like to disclose their result in this forum.
A friend of mine failed CS too, he took the test at Houston center in May, 06 and his result shows that he lacks English proficiency.
Where is your test center AAzad?

hi aazad,
were you able to finish each encounter on time? did you do knocking, handwashing, draping, summarize the hx and P.E with each patient encounter, etc?

I did not finish first encounter . i did not complete the PE but the rest I think I did them complete b4 they anounce the end.hand washing and deraping I am positive , also summerizing history and findings on PE , and every thing else ,and also asking them if it is ok to do this or that and telling them the findings . every thing , but I think I was not good enough since I got score Like 0 of 10 in this part and like 7 or 8 of 10 from the other parts like english and patient notes,I only did not shake hand with one patient that i had my klip board on my R hand when I entered the room , so still I do not understant why but who cares?. I do not think this is a difficult exam and one week study should be enough , but probably we have to be very careful to the pionts that our colleage Digitaldoc has them on the blog,

I am positive that you will pass this time
I have my cs in Atlanta in NOV, I want to ask you a couple of silly questions:
1. Did you buy a white coat? Is there a specific req. for the white coat?
2. Did you use usmle world for preparation?
