A question to all guys who are still awaiting their documents to be uploaded in ERAS... have you all already applied? Just applied yesterday and a lot of programs had already downloaded the 'incomplete' application by today morning. What do you all think? Would they come back to review such applications or should I expect rejections?

I dont think so they will come back..as the applicant pool is so big by the time the USMLE transcript will be available they would have thousand more applications so who cares man to come back on an application unless the program seems really interested in you based on your other credentials..

i dont think the pd/pcs are reading or screening every appli as they come thru eras. they let them all come in and then use their wonderful filters. technically speaking very few ppl applie with a complete appli - having applied to 1 prog first on sept 1 and then the others and havin all steps passed with us lors for research and usce in bag (bcoz remem ppl are doin usce now or have yet to give s3). but then they too had their transcripts uploaded on 2nd. so on 1st they too were incomplete. but still by ur conjecture the pds are gonna call from the same pool of 100 applicants?

relax folks - they will come back. they too need the best applicants.

I said they need not go back if the upcoming is better..anyways the transcripts have started uploading so lets see....

programs stop accepting applications once they reach a certain number. however the applications which they have, are screened. and hence iviews are given out in batches at most programs (barring some ny comm). iviews which come in til oct will have iview dates only til dec. then a fresh batch of iviews will go out for cancellations and for jan in late oct to mid nov. programs like emory dont even screen imgs until late oct to early nov - only after they have finished sortin out their amg iviews.

No, this isn't true. I have tried to call ERAS and to tell them to stop, and they keep sending new applications long after our deadline. I realize that this is unfair for the applicant but ERAS keeps sending them.

This time of year, programs will download for hours at a time. And when I am downloading, I can't get on the internet.
