hi, i gave my ck yesterday. i feel a little better than yesterday. heres how my exam went i went to prometric center by 8am n my exam started at 8:30 am. i think the first block was ok. i felt confident after doing it. I was lucky because I did not have the typical long questions ppl talk abt. None of the blocks were very hard but i felt i was guessing most things. Anyway 60-80% of my questions were medicine, 10-20% peds, 10-20% obgyn, surgery - hardly any questions, may be 20 for the whole exam, psych - 5- 10%. U r good with medicine u can expect high 90s. That was wat I felt because most questions were meds. N u have to know the first step in diagnosis n management for everything. That is wat is tested the most n also the best investigation n treatment. I still have to wait 3 wks for my result. I can may be tell u better at that point. I will be happy to answer any of ur questions. Vijay

Hi Vijay, How was the time management? Did you finish all before the time is up? The length of questions are like UW or NBME qs? Did you have any EKG? Thanks Wish you a very good score.

Cbenitesch- 46 per block, time depends- some r long n some r short, some took me 3-4 mins, some 23-30 secs <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> catmd04- I felt the length was like nbme, here n there a few long questions- especially nbme 2 is more similar. 1 ecg – vt- I’m assuming lotshope- I suggest not to waste time reviewing step 1 except- immunology – very briefly just do disorders n storage disorders. Study_ing- radiograph- 5-6 Graphs- 1 Pictures- 8-10 Dermat 2-3 Oncology- breast, lung, blood n prostate Step1 – not much. I don’t really want a great score, I just want an ok score. I really hope god gives me in the early nineties or upper 80s atleast
