2) patient should be prepared for ABCīs and stabilization of the event. malnguering is an exclusion diagnosis. 3 is true, but you must give support to the patient. more damage can occur if let him on his own 4 is not a safe option for the caregiver...a better measure would be to elevate the mandile. 5 donīt have accurate info of which is the most common cause of death in a seizure... my anser is (2)

nice explaination frank..but u can not exclude the malingring..it is possible ..pt would have to be an acctor to urinate on himself while having clonic muscular contractions.. correct ans is 3 here despite the dramatic presentation of a tonic clonic or grand mal seizure..most seizures stop on their own within few minutes. for 5.death from seizure activity can occur rare and often due to complications of seizure (aspiration, hypoxia) ratther than primary brain damage ,which is not thought to occur except in rare cases of prolonged uniterrupted seizures(prolonged status epilepticuz).

yeah! I swear my answer was 3, I read on the Green cross first aid book when you assist a patient on a seizure place the patient on his left side is because of level of stomach and esophagus and you can prevent aspiration with reflux or salliva. I think you can place on his left side after performing ABC, otherwise you MUST secure airway.
