Whats the chance of having depression after pt has one maniac episode?

Yes how is that correct if Mania can only be diagnosed as Bipolar 1
unless you mean after an atack of mania..what is the risk of the patient getting a depressive relapse.?...

one episode of mania leads to bipolar diagnosis so the question just ask whats the chance of having a depressive episode after pt gets a maniac episode n its 90%

Ok i think i understand what ur saying..I didn't know that actually....

But u know what
since there is a 10 % chance that a patient cld have mania without depression......DSM IV shld have kept Mania as it used to be....a separate disorder with Bipolar I being another diagnosis...if u know what i mean...

But who wld tell the guys who constructed DSM IV to do this and that.... smiling face
